Thanks-giving

Thanks-giving - giving thanks - is what tomorrow is intended to focus on, and that’s something I can get behind.

Of course, the practice of thanks-giving is one that’s optimally honored every day, not just on a day designated by our annual calendars. And certainly it isn’t limited to giving thanks for the “usual” and perhaps expected.

“Be present in all things and thankful for all things.” ~Maya Angelou | From the blog post Thanks-giving by Ellen M. Gregg, Intuitive Channel & Healer. #thanksgiving #givingthanks #thankful #present #gratitude #mayaangelou #gratitudequote

  • We may offer up thanks for a person who showed us through their actions how we don’t want to be.

  • We may offer up thanks for dis-ease that reminded us of the important things in life.

  • We may offer up thanks for the passing of a loved one who was suffering, and now no longer is.

  • We may offer up thanks for intuition that prevented us from taking a detrimental action.

No matter what we give thanks for, understanding its overall impact in our life - that of potent presence and right action - serves to offer us more to be thankful for.

Wishing you and yours thanks-giving every day. Blessed be.
