Other Lives: Reframing Our Perception of Past Lives

From the time I learned about their existence for me, through about 2018, I called them past lives. They are those incarnations that, based on our linear human perception of time, occurred in the past.

The more I learn and the more my guides and the council of light show me, though, the more I see that reframing past lives to other lives offers us the opportunity to view the bigger (and truer) picture.

With past-life regression, we’re hypnotized (odd that I so wanted to type “hypnotised” - using an “s” over a “z”) into an altered state that encourages us to re-inhabit bits of our other lives.

Until I became a certified hypnotist, I was very adverse to the concept of hypnosis. For me, it meant giving up control of my consciousness and faculties. The reality is entirely different from that incorrect supposition about how hypnosis works.

The altered state of hypnosis - including past-life regression - is more meditative in quality. Even as you’re aware of your present physical self, you’re also aware of another version of yourself.

It’s pretty cool.

Viewing other lives is different, and yet also cool.

Observation over hypnotic regression

This piece feels like a potential game-changer for those who feel challenged by the notion of “traveling” into their soul’s past. In fact, even without feeling challenged by that notion, it was a game-changer for me when I became aware of it.

My experience with the switch from past lives to other lives is that it removes the need for hypnosis. Instead, it becomes intuitive observation - a facet of clairvoyance.

Rather than going through the process of hypnosis to reach a state that permits regression, we use our intention and intuitive vision to reveal another life.

That life may be perceived as in the past, or it may be perceived as in the future. It may be human in reference, or it may be something other than human - something otherworldly.

Past-life regression is, by its very nature, limiting. Other-life observation is wide open.

A hall of mirrors

This is a way of looking at the observation of other lives that may prove supportive of our efforts. When we stand at one end of a hall of mirrors, we see ourselves reflected in each of the mirrors.

From our human perspective, with our human vision, we see various angles of our current selves reflecting the clothes we’re wearing, the way our hair is done, etc.

From our intuitive perspective, with the intention of seeing other lives, we still recognize ourselves in the array of mirrors. However, our gender, skin color, eye color, hair color, clothing, etc., present differently.

It may be that we see ourselves as something that is without any physically-identifiable form at all.

Our surroundings will be different. The energy of the setting will feel different.

With focus upon whatever “mirror” we’re guided to, we may learn more about our role in that life. We may intuit the where, when and why of it.

Once satisfied with our findings, we shift our focus to another mirror.

Bigger and truer

The purpose for this shift in perspective coming to the fore at this point in time aligns with a shift in overall consciousness we’re undertaking.

It’s time for us to become more expansive in our vision of who we are, who we were, who we will be, and what our purpose is. Doing so supports us to create a bigger and truer understanding of our place in the fabric of the universe, the multiverse, etc.

This is something we may undertake on our own, or with support. If we’re confident and comfortable with such things, we can simply go for it as time and energy permit. Otherwise, I’ve supported clients to view other lives through intuitive sessions with fascinating results.

Imagine what we might discover about ourselves that could make a world of difference in our perceived current reality. And imagine how that difference could ripple out and touch all aspects of our lives as well as our relationships.

It’s a beautiful imagining.
