My Current Tarot Crush
As part of my participation in Ethony's 31 Days of Tarot, I'm dishing on my current Tarot crush. This prompt says the crush can either be a card or a deck. For me, it's a deck.Allow me to properly introduce you to Wizards Tarot by Corrine Kenner, illustrated by John J. Blumen.Oh, what a deck. I just knew there was something special about it when I first saw it and added it to my Tarot wish list. It became priority #1 in terms of acquiring it, and its manifestation came earlier than expected. My cousin Debbie, who reads this blog, saw my post about Wizards Tarot and was guided to gift it to me. It arrived on January 9, and by mid-afternoon on January 10 it was charged and ready for use. It's living up to the hype it generated in me.In the image above, I've exposed the four cards I was guided to share in this post. As I look at them, I see their story, and then I feel their story, and then I hear their story.By the way, they're to be read from right to left, as can often happen with my guides. (Which is why I no longer assume, when drawing cards, how they're to be read, order-wise.)
Seven of Swords
The Seven of Swords reminds me that there is no need to hide myself and my "mysteries." There's no need to withhold or shy away from or in any way be secretive about who I am and what I'm about and how I be.There's a reminder here, too, that within the scope of that no-hiding message is a sort of permission to be vocal about my beliefs and those things for which I am passionate and activist.
Six of Pentacles
The Six of Pentacles reminds me to remember balance in all things, and most especially at this time in all things of an Earthly nature. To be really specific, this pertains to money. This card reminds me that it's my right to receive for work rendered, and it's my right to give for goods for either personal or professional purposes, and to charity. I am worthy of receiving and giving abundance.
The Hermit
The Hermit cautions me to allow adequate time to be in divination. And by "divination," that's to say meditation and contemplation and card reading and book reading and prayer for myself.By its nature, my work has me being of service in these ways to my clients, and to those who read my blog posts and Instagrams and Facebook posts and videos, etc. It could be "easy" to say, that's enough for me, too.It isn't. I require my own personal divination, which is something I'm paying great heed to in this, my year of Healthful.*
The Wheel of Fortune
The Wheel of Fortune reminds me that every season is deserving of its moment and my awareness; my mindfulness. Powering through any given hour or day or week or month or year for the purpose of "getting it over with" does me disservice. The wheel which is our scope of life is enabled to be appreciated and experienced in a way that is present; in-the-now. To do otherwise is to miss the point. To do otherwise is to miss the juicy bits. To do otherwise is to be without purpose.Whew! These cards are so powerful. I have such a crush on them. :-)Want a reading with this delicious deck? Choose one of the email readings I offer and make note of that when you write up your question.
