Fly With the Sweetness of Your Soul

Reason with ease. Reason with love. Reason with giving of the self and heart. Reason with watchfulness of the propensity of expectation as it reasons solely with ego. Free your mind from the swords of ego and fly with the sweetness of your soul.”

That’s timely. It’s all too easy to slip into the amplified expectations presented through advertising and any number of shows, books, magazines, movies, etc., in which giving and receiving are extravagant and, for many if not most people, completely unrealistic.

Reasoning with the soul as a compass for giving and receiving absolves us of meeting a certain quota or dollar amount. It frees us to give and receive wholeheartedly, holistically, healthfully.

As the lyric from the old carol "In the Bleak Midwinter" goes, “If I were a wise man, I would do my part. What can I give him? Give my heart.”
