My Most Impactful Tarot Moment of 2016

As part of my participation in Ethony's 31 Days of Tarot, I'm sharing my most impactful Tarot moment of 2016.My most impactful Tarot moment of 2016 was the decision to actually use Tarot cards and to learn them in a totally public way through Taking on Tarot.31 Days of Tarot, Day 10: My most impactful Tarot moment of 2016 was... Taking on Tarot.Taking on Tarot was my way of journeying through the Universal Waite Tarot deck. And let me be clear: My guides gave me this assignment. I'm grateful for that.I journeyed through most of the Major Arcana before I was guided to put the series on hold. The why behind that is simple: There were other things my energies needed to be channeled into; more "pressing concerns" as I just heard. And yet... Even with the pause, I broke through a major barrier that had dogged me for 21 years, at that time: An absolute distrust of Tarot and its confounding messages.Of course, the reason for the barrier was the fact that those confounding messages were confoundingly accurate. And the particular situation around which I received those messages was one that broke my heart in a purely romantic sense and also created a long-time barrier against romance. It's no secret what happened. You can read about it here: Shaped by the Past: My Ex-Fiancé. And you can read about Tarot's part in it here: The Unspoken Truth About Divination CardsI'm happy to report that I'm guided to pick up where I left off for Taking On Tarot. The baton will be retrieved after this month, when 31 Days of Tarot has concluded. Even though I'm actively using several Tarot decks (and actively pursuing several others), it will be a great practice for me.So, there you have it in a sort of nutshell: my most impactful Tarot moment of 2016. I wonder what 2017 will bring me through Tarot. :-)
