Wisdom of the Oracle: Interviewing Divination Decks
Two weeks ago, I wrote a post about the notion of interviewing the card decks we use for divination purposes, with the intent of learning more about their purpose and energy. In that post, I mentioned that I'd be interviewing all of the oracle decks I work with. That process began last week with Oracle of the Angels by Mario Duguay.
This week, I'm interviewing Wisdom of the Oracle divination cards by Colette Baron-Reid, published by Hay House.
What is your ideal purpose?
The purpose of the Wisdom of the Oracle deck is to create a way of observing the self through the lens of the soul. We notice that through this observation can come great harmony and oneness, and great peace.
Very interesting, and very much in keeping with the overall vibe of this deck. In some ways, it offers us a bird's-eye view of our everyday lives, with the goal of showing us another way to view ourselves and our world.
What is your energy form?
The form through which the energy and the messages come is that of the soul itself. Through this measure, the user and the querent are better served to fulfill their soul's call and purpose.
"There's no place like home," right? Especially when that home is our very soul. What better energy form, then, for these cards to call upon.
Of course, that means that whether we're using the cards for ourselves or we're using them for a querent, we - user and querent - are the oracle. Let's take a moment to let that sink in...
Who is your ideal querent?
The ideal querent will be she who is as yet incomplete in her discoveries of the soul and its purpose. The cards provide a great enhancement of the seeking which accompanies such a person.
Beautiful. That means, this deck can be a wonderful helper for anyone who is wishing to fill in the blanks and/or flesh out the story and/or make clearer the map they've been presented with thus far in regards to their soul and its mission.
Who will benefit from working with you?
The person who will most benefit is the person who sees herself as standing with equal footing within the human realm and the spirit realm. In this we notice there is the potential to bring forth the resonance of the spirit realm to the human realm.
I love that. And to be clear, this isn't about a person who's wanting to exit the human realm.
This is about the person who's wanting to regain the fullness of their spirit self while thriving in the human realm. (That thriving will be amplified by the regaining of that fullness.)
Can anyone work with you regardless of experience?
To the degree that there is the calling to be in a manner of rebirthing through remembering, and in so doing creating a new life where there was an old life.
That almost feels like a gentle disclaimer. In different, words, yes, anyone can use these cards, and yet in the using there must be an understanding that what is (and was) will be urged to change into something new and better.
So, if you want to change and grow and improve in all areas of your life, then these cards will support you to do that.
