Hello, and welcome to our weekly reading.
This energy reading is for the week of July 2nd through July 8th and we’re working with The Starchild Tarot * Akashic deck this week.
So…
Our card – which I have over here – is…
Ooh... Oppression. Wow. Okay. Oppression.
So… Oppression, in this deck – in The Starchild Tarot * Akashic deck – is related to The Devil.
So, what is The Devil? The Devil in Tarot is, yes, about oppression. And where does oppression come from? Oppression comes from ego.
And it could be said- Boy, sometimes, when I draw The Devil card or draw this card, I want to replace its title simply with “Ego,” period, because it says so much.
Anyway, let’s find out what our channeled is regarding Oppression for this week.
We notice that with Oppression, we remind you, you can only oppress yourself. You can only permit yourself to be oppressed. You can only choose thoughts, words, deeds that oppress you. You can only choose to allow others’ thoughts, words, deeds to oppress you.
What we see is a need for accountability, responsibility, for self… Accountability, responsibility for what you think for yourself and others; what you say of yourself and others; what you do to and for yourself and others.
Ooh… Anything else?
Okay.
That says a lot, doesn’t it? And it’s so very true.
It’s easy to forget the power that we have within ourselves to create our environment. And I mean our internal environment as well as our external environment.
And, yes, with a nod to this 3D existence, there are some things that are outside our control. At the same time, we are in control of how we respond to those things; how we respond to other people; how we respond to and for ourselves.
That is our ultimate power.
So, this week we’re encouraged to practice that power; to put it to good use; to put it to use on behalf of ourselves and on behalf of our planet.
