Cocreative Healing

16 June 2025

Cocreative healing is a new term to me, as of 6 June. It started showing up in my channeled journaling, encouraging me to understand that more than my efforts were working to support the healing of my right knee.

Vibrant energy forms and light striations combine to form this image, overlaid by the words "Cocreative Healing."

It isn’t a new concept.

Cocreative healing isn’t a new concept. Healing with…

  • Reiki or another form of energy healing

  • ibuprofen and ice

  • the support of angels, ETs, elementals, ascended masters, and others

  • the help of a physical therapist

…are examples of cocreative healing. Is that how I framed those healing options, though? Is that how I perceived them? No, it isn’t.

It is a new sense of responsibility.

Viewing those healing options through the lens of cocreative healing is offering me a new sense of responsibility for the healing process, which is a weird thing to admit. I mean, I do take responsibility for my healing. This is different, though.

A channeled message

Powerful healing of the cocreative sort requires additional responsibility, as it may ask more of the person in need of healing than they expect. They may find themselves asked to do things in certain ways, to be in a way of discomfort through doing things differently, to be more attentive to their true needs than their supposed needs.

There it is. That sums it up. Last week, to provide my knee with the best opportunity for healing, I was guided to work away from my desk. In fact, I was guided to work from my recliner. That raised a lot of discomfort within me, which showed me how much I associate traditional work locations with doing “real” work.

Even with the technology I needed at hand, running my business from my recliner didn’t count according to my ego. I had to get over that if I wanted to give my knee what it needed.

I had more than “the usual” help.

Sitting in my recliner on Friday afternoon, a familiar sensation came to my attention. While familiar, it was outside of the usual context. When I get into bed at night, I’m often joined by all manner of energy forms. There are appropriate boundaries in place, and rules are in place regarding the interruption of my rest time.

There’s one particular energy that always feels warm and appears to have appendages: hands and fingers. That energy will trace patterns on my back, play with my hair, or place a hand on my shoulder in what feels like a gesture of comfort as I drift toward sleep.

On Friday, that energy traced patterns on my lower leg and knee, resulting in jolts of energy running through those areas. It was clearly a form of healing being offered, and I was grateful for the opportunity to receive that healing, and also to observe the process uninterrupted.

In addition to that unexpected help, I offered myself Reiki and was also guided to use the chakra framework in support of my knee. The part with the chakra framework was a surprise, and I’m still working out exactly how it helped. (It definitely helped. It’s the way I was guided to apply it that I’m still working out.)

There’s more work to do.

My healing journey with this knee injury is incomplete. Even so, I’m able to sit at my desk today (for a while, at least) and type this post on my desktop. The swelling is diminishing along with the bruising. The discomfort has lessened overall. I’m very grateful for this cocreative healing experience.

Thanks for reading.
