August 2017 Taught Me...

Closing the Book on 2017, December 20: August taught me… The Hermit from Everyday Witch Tarot by Deborah Blake and Elisabeth Alba.

August taught me “to energize through ways of trust and faith.” This is an extension of July’s lesson. The biggest difference is, I didn’t grapple with lack of faith and trust.

There came, through contemplation, deeper understanding about the dynamics of July 28, and an acceptance of hope within that faith and trust that all would be well with my mom - whatever that may look like.

On August 22, she was scheduled for another cardioversion. Arriving for the procedure, all her vitals were taken along with an EKG. The EKG showed a steady heart rhythm. The new medication she was prescribed early in the month worked. No need for a cardioversion.
