The Spring Equinox is Friday, and Spring fever will surely follow close on its heels. That extra energy can be used toward the traditional Spring cleaning, certainly. And yet, can you imagine how much more energy you might have - for cleaning, and other (probably more fun) things - if you give your digestive system a Spring cleaning, too?Rachel Feldman's post 3 Detox-Friendly Snacks to Help You Get Clean for Spring will do just that. She offers up recipes for Guacamole, Pumpkin Seed Paté, and Detox Pesto (which I'm calling Presto Pesto in my head), right here, that will help you spring forward in a healthy and energetic way.

Mind

Here's something to wrap your mind around: Smartphone addiction. Did you know it's a real addiction? I didn't until I was wrapping my own mind around what topic to address for Final Project 1 for one of my degree classes: Psychology of Addiction. When a couple of things caught my eyes, and then my imagination, I did a Google search and... Wow.Final Project 1 (there were two for this class) required that I create a 10-minute presentation on the addiction I chose to address; a public service announcement, of sorts. I did that. (It came in at 11:11 (!) after editing.) Here it is:
