V11. The Chariot
My self-study of Tarot continues with The Chariot. Or, as I just heard, “the wings with which to fly.”
Daring; adventurer; moving forward; “moving on up”; dreams taking flight; momentum; shooting star; comet by the tail; evangelical; fleet-footed.
Stars, crescent moons, castles, wings, sphinxes.
The stars in the awning and on the crown with the juxtaposition of the two sphinxes are what my eyes continually return to, with the wings as a “by the way.”
The stars evoke a high celestial connection. The sphinxes… I keep hearing “ancients.” The wings… Angels. They’re all about angels.
Yellow, blue, white, black, gold, green, red.
The persistent yellow reminds me of a golden light I often see during healing sessions and meditation. It could align with the solar plexus chakra, except it doesn’t. There’s something “higher” about it.
The blue is all about celestial; “angelic.” It’s another reference to the overall high-in-the-sky vibe of this card.
What the Guide Says
“Succor, providence, also war, triumph, presumption, vengeance, trouble. Reversed: Riot, quarrel, dispute, litigation, defeat.”
Succor: assistance and support in times of hardship and distress.
Providence: the protective care of God or of nature as a spiritual power.
What Spirit Says
We see children who are still remembering their spirit life.
We see children who are star seeds or indigoes or star children.
We see new souls emerging on the planet.
We see a soul who is in its last incarnation.
We see a person who is in a rat race.
We see a person who exemplifies moving forward.
We see a momentum in a situation.
We see an idolized view of doing and exceeding.
We see a manner of avoiding sitting still.
We see a manner of achieving greatness over success.
We see a reasoning of expression which creates a desire for more and more.
We see an ability to access the Akashic records.
We see an ability to access other planes and locations.
We see an ability to open doors and move mountains.
We see an understanding of the ancient wisdom.
We see a harmonic representation of Heaven and Earth.
The phrase “written in the stars” comes to mind, followed by the song. Related: In posting a teaser about this post to Instagram, I heard a chorus from the song “You Can’t Stop the Beat” from Hairspray:
‘Cause you can’t stop the motion of the ocean
or the rain from above.
You can try to stop the paradise
we’re dreaming of,
but you cannot stop the rhythm
of two hearts in love to stay.
‘Cause you can’t stop the beat!
There can be something important for the querent here around their connection – “affiliation” – with the celestial beings and bodies.
There’s a strong sense that this soul is “prepared for lift-off.” Major ascension and enlightenment resonances from this card.
For me, the energy of this card resonates most with White Angelica essential oil blend.
