What's Going On Energetically

I've been so busy writing posts for 31 Days of Tarot (drafted the last one yesterday) that I haven't had the time and energy to do other writing until now. It's time to talk about what's going on energetically, and to share what's going on with me, too. What's Going On Energetically? ~ The what's-what for January 20, 2017.

What's going on energetically?

To answer this question, we're drawing on the energy of Boundaries, a card from The Awakened Soul Oracle Deck.

We notice the need for all women to create and power new boundaries at this time. We notice there is the bucking of the patriarchal systems which seek to claim women within their holds for an increased time. There is need for women to stand firmly routed in their remembrances of their divine femininity and its deep routes. We see the women must draw a circle around themselves and energize the circle with their mighty power. There is a call for all women to create circles beyond their own circle with other women. We notice there is an increased persistence in the urgency of this matter. Women are in need of other women to support their creativity.

In case there's any question, the text above is fully channeled. Can you feel it? Can you feel the calling to the hearthfire of your womanhood? Can you feel the deep-rooted energy that pulls at you from Mother Earth and asks you to remember her and remember you? This is the current energy. And it begs for Transformation, as depicted through a card from the Magic & Manifestation Affirmation Cards.

The time has come when women must transform themselves through their connection to the feminine roots of Earth and their ancestors and all women.

Yes. And, Yes! This is a major call to action, and also a major activation period. There is so much at stake, and yet there is equally so much to put stake in.This era is one that puts "her" in "history" and makes it "their story." This era is the launchpad for the rebalancing of the feminine and masculine. To do that, we - we women and also men - must do the work to transform ourselves. And it happens that Transformation is the perfect bridge card to...What's going on with me?I'm hopeful that what I'm sharing here will offer further inspiration to pursue new boundaries and the pursuit of transformation. So.It almost feels as though I've been hiding behind 31 Days of Tarot, even though I haven't, really. Perhaps it's more that I've been incubating behind it. It offered me a chrysalis for some transformative work. That work has included a whole lot of reading - both cards and books.Part of my transformative reading practice includes two daily card draws; one in the morning and one at night. I'm really loving the practice. It's providing me with great insight around where I am and where I'm heading and how I'm being and what I'm doing. It's priceless. The other part of my transformative reading practice includes at least one hour of book reading, every day. Because of that, I've managed to finish two books and am in different stages of reading two other books. The book I just finished three days ago is The Dance of the Dissident Daughter: A Woman's Journey from Christian Tradition to the Sacred Feminine by Sue Monk Kidd. And what a book it was.It challenged me and pushed all manner of buttons. It asked me to look at my own state of femininity and its marked lack of connection with the "true" sacred feminine; that which is true for me.It resulted in a week of near-sleepless nights, crying jags, question marks all over the place... A truly fantastic read for inspiring - and maybe instigating - transformation and requiring massive amounts of...Grounding, the final card in today's trilogy, also from The Awakened Soul Oracle Deck. The grounding was achieved through eating mostly vegetables, fruits and whole grains, and through card draws, and through meditation, and through oodles of herbal tea.I can't cite sleeping as a grounding measure, because it's only over the past few days that a solid sleeping pattern has emerged. What a difference it makes, too.And by the way, those grounding practices aren't going anywhere. They just came in particularly useful to cope with the watery and airy energies of major deep-diving expeditions into my psyche and soul.I feel I can safely say those expeditions aren't going anywhere, either. I'm sure that's in part why I was guided to begin reading Don't Let Anything Dull Your Sparkle by Doreen Virtue Ph.D. two nights ago. While it could be considered lighter reading than Dissident Daughter, it's light only by virtue of being gentle in its approach. It still asks of those who are willing and able to dive deep.Dive I must. Dive I will. In fact, I'll also be diving back into Worthy by Nancy Levin. I began it a couple weeks ago and reached a point that requires a whole lot of journaling at the 37% point (Kindle version), and then was guided to pick up Dissident Daughter.I know I'll likely return to Worthy next week, once I've finished Sparkle.Whew. If you have any interest in any of these books, you can learn more and/or purchase them through my Amazon store:
