Summer Solstice 2019: Energyscope
Summer Solstice 2019 is upon us. It reaches its peak at 11:54 am Eastern (US). And even with my eyes on that prize, I find myself reeled back to the Winter Solstice. In part, it seems the purpose for that lies with the difference between the two. There's a stark difference between the cold of Winter and the heat of Summer. And in another part, it seems the purpose lies in the reminder of how far we traveled over these past six months.
There's another piece in play with that reeling-back motion, too. It serves as a reminder that while we enter Summer in the Northern hemisphere, the Southern hemisphere enters Winter. So, please know this energyscope serves the Solstice in both hemispheres, even though Summer prevails due to my location here in the US.
Summer Solstice 2019
As guided, I drew a card for us. It represents the overall energy around the Solstice itself, as well as the Summer (or Winter) season. And so it is that we find ourselves at a...
...crossroads. Notice how the imagery depicts a split scene. We could attribute the left side to nature's slumber during Winter. And we could attribute the right side to nature's vibrance during Summer. While it makes sense, that attribution also presents as too easy; too cut and dried. Having stood there before, we likely know a crossroads is rarely, if ever, cut and dried.
Also standing out from the card: 22. A master number in numerology, we could reflect on 22 as representing the energy of 11, doubled; super-sized. That's a powerful energy; an important energy. That "volume" of energy requires we sit up and take notice.
"The crossroads wonders, 'Do you persevere, or do you fall back? Will you change your ways, or will you remain in the old patterns?' The crossroads forces a decision and a decisive action. There will be change, or there will be no change."
Looking at the imagery again, we might understand the path on the left equals no change. That means the path on the right - "the sunny side of the street," as I hear - equals change.
"No, change" or "Yes, change"?
Whether we welcome change or we dread it, change bears the hallmark of evolution. And evolution, like it or not, is where it's at. Without evolution, we stagnate. Pushing the needle (and the point), without evolution we die unnaturally and prematurely.
By reflecting on the last sentence of the channeled message, we glean another perspective. It states, "There will be change, or there will be no change." Through considering where we stand in our lives, we probably notice an aspect that feels uncomfortable. We might even notice we feel smothered or burdened by it. Without making a change, that discomfort - that smothering or burdening sensation - continues unabated. It may even increase.
Is that what we want?
So, dear ones, with this Solstice and the season it ushers in we find ourselves faced with a "vital" question (and choice). And the question (and choice), with nods to Yoda and Shakespeare, is, "To change or change not?" We best answer (and choose) wisely.
Happy Solstice. Blessed be.
