Earth Magic Oracle: Interviewing Divination Decks

This week, I'm interviewing Earth Magic oracle cards by Steven D. Farmer, published by Hay House Lifestyles.

For context: Six weeks ago, I wrote a post about the notion of interviewing the card decks we use for divination purposes. The intent: learning more about their purpose and energy.

In that post, I mentioned that I'd be interviewing all of the oracle decks I work with. That process began five weeks ago, and has so far included:

Oracle of the Angels by Mario Duguay,

Wisdom of the Oracle by Colette Baron-Reid,

Wisdom of the Hidden Realms by Colette Baron-Reid,

The Enchanted Map by Colette Baron-Reid, and

The Awakened Soul Oracle by Ethony Dawn

What is the ideal purpose of the Earth Magic oracle cards?

The purpose of the Earth Magic oracle cards is to pursue movement in the life. As the Earth is in constant motion, as the seasons are in constant change, as the days become weeks, which become months, which become years, there is always the movement. The movement is what engages the human with their cycles of growth, and the cards reflect that growth.

Wow. That's beautiful and, as I just heard, "definitive." I agree with that, too. I love that movement is the purpose of the Earth Magic deck.

It feels like we can easily overlook that very obvious way of being in the human life. Beyond that, it then seems more plausible that we could also overlook the perhaps less-obvious way of being in soul-full movement in the human life.

What is your energy form?

The form of the oracle deck is that of creation and recreation. The energy of creation and recreation is what assists the movement; what brings sunrise and sunset; what brings full moon and new moon.

Well. How cool is that for an energy to power an oracle card deck that's about movement?

It's an "established" energy, I hear. It's established in the sense of the energy being an establishment of movement and growth. That's a fascinating way to put it.

Who is your ideal querent?

The ideal querent is one who has an understanding and interest in the movement of souls from life to life. The querent will also see the generational movement of the world as an important aspect of the whole.

That's a tantalizing explanation of the ideal querent. That means we're talking about past lives (and future lives, for that matter). It means we're also talking about the perspective of Earth's growth in familiar generational comprehension rather than geological.

For me, that generational perspective of Earth adds a delicious richness to my musings about Earth's development.

Who will benefit from working with you?

The person who will most benefit from working with these cards is the person who seeks blessings and offers blessings. The person to whom these cards will be most beneficial is the person who understands the movement required of an infinite life of blessings.

Goodness. I'm appreciating these cards more and more as this interview progresses.

The person who "seeks blessings and offers blessings" is the person who understands the seesaw movement of give and receive. That person understands the nature of energy exchange and sees what such an exchange can bring to enhance a life: blessings.

Beautiful.

Can anyone work with you regardless of experience?

The deck is best suited for the user or querent who wishes to be in deep communion with the Earth energy and the powerful energy of all nature. To this person, the deck will present its movement with clarity and justice.

Whew. While there's an obvious depth to that answer that could be daunting, it instead offers up feelings of relaxing surrender to me.

Relaxing into the energy of these cards will "anoint" the user or querent with the type of surrender that opens doors to infinite potential.

Beyond those doors lie "clarity and justice" to support soul movement at an inviting and different level.

There's your invitation, dear one. Are you ready to accept? ♥
