This week, I’m interviewing New Age Hipster InstaOracle, created by Vix, photographed by Vix, published by New Age Hipster. (Yes! This is another independent deck!)
For context: Fifteen weeks ago, I wrote a post about the notion of interviewing the card decks we use for divination purposes. The intent: learning more about their purpose and energy.
In that post, I mentioned that I’d be interviewing all of the divination decks I work with. That process began fourteen weeks ago, and has so far included:
♥ Oracle of the Angels by Mario Duguay,
♥ Wisdom of the Oracle by Colette Baron-Reid,
♥ Wisdom of the Hidden Realms by Colette Baron-Reid,
♥ The Enchanted Map by Colette Baron-Reid,
♥ The Awakened Soul Oracle by Ethony Dawn,
♥ Earth Magic Oracle Cards by Steven D. Farmer,
♥ The Good Tarot by Colette Baron-Reid,
♥ Sacred Creators Oracle by Chris-Anne,
♥ Energy Oracle Cards by Sandra Anne Taylor,
♥ Chrysalis Tarot by Holly Sierra and Toney Brooks,
♥ Women’s Bodies, Women’s Wisdom by Christiane Northrup,
♥ Magic & Manifestation Affirmation Cards by Cristina Re,
♥ Mystical Wisdom card deck by Gaye Guthrie, and
♥ Keepers of the Light oracle cards by Kyle Gray
What is the ideal purpose of New Age Hipster InstaOracle cards?
The purpose of New Age Hipster InstaOracle cards is to remind the user and querent of their multitude of choices. The everyday world engages with all manner of choices, and so to remember this opens curiosity.
When I turned this card over, I had such appreciation for it. The channeled message notwithstanding, the card itself is evocative of the entire deck. There’s a lot of wonderful tongue-in-cheek, don’t-take-it-all-too-seriously vibes in the deck. It can be a welcome relief.
What is the energy form of New Age Hipster InstaOracle cards?
The form of New Age Hipster InstaOracle cards is that of inquiry and wonder. There comes a childlike curiosity when there are mysteries to behold and ponder, when there are angel orbs and fairy chimes and powerful energies. The energy of the cards invites such curiosity.
Beautiful! And spot on, I feel. Also, delightfully in keeping with Donuts, and not just because some crop circles might resemble those pastries. 😉
Who is your ideal querent?
The ideal querent is one who believes in the importance and necessity of self-love. To believe in self-love is to understand the powerful energy which prevails upon the humans as the energy of the soul seeks to reside within.
Ooh… That was an unexpected twist within that second channeled sentence. I like it, a lot. It rings true.
Who will benefit from working with you?
Those who will most benefit from these cards are those who walk the pathway of their soul with an understanding that there is no call for complete severity. The soul is that which is freedom and so to rejoice in the walk and balance that which is severe with great joy will serve well.
What a wonderful reminder. I also heard, “walk as you talk,” for what it’s worth.
Can anyone work with you regardless of experience?
The cards will respond to all who wish to make use of them. They are powered with inclusivity.
So much “yes” here. It feels like Rainbow circles right back around to Donuts, in a beautifully lighthearted manner.
