Here we are, on the cusp of March. The days are lengthening and the sun is strengthening here in New Hampshire. Even though there’s snow on the ground, we’re experiencing occasional days allowing for melting. Late Winter is such an interesting season. I see treetops spoiling to bud, and find myself encouraging them to wait. It isn’t time yet, truly. We’ll see if they listen… or prove me wrong.
Illuminating the Week of 25 February 2019
Last week, we had our call to adventure through the Ace of Pentacles. This week, via the Knight of Pentacles, we might say, “Challenge accepted.” Here’s our message:
“Articulate the deed that is in need, and set out to do it. This is an energy of refinement, and yet it is also an energy of action. There is an important work that must be completed. This work is yours for the doing and completing. The Knight acts as your example. Their accepted challenge is now yours.”
We’ve moved from preparatory active energy to activity. This is the energy of the Knight. It’s a step-out after a step-up. It’s “Go!” after “Ready… set…” And it may – yes, it may – involve a great leap of faith on our part, and solely on our own behalf. It will be for our benefit, too, of course, and yet it’s very likely what we accomplish will benefit others, too. (Bearing that in mind may prove helpful in dealing with errant egos.)
- What deed needs articulating and doing?
- How will you step out, that you may “Go!”?
- If a leap of faith is called for, how will you support yourself to take it? Who will you ask to support you to take it, if additional encouragement is needed?
May we all complete what needs it, and reap the benefits for ourselves and in service to others. Blessed be.
