Are we really here? Are we actually standing on the edge of 2019 with only the heels of our feet balancing precariously on 2018?
Yes, we are.
The energy for 2019 has been making itself known to me for several weeks now. There’s been an enfolding of it into my everyday (and night) in such a way that at times it has been laughable.
How has it been enfolding, you ask? The answer: Mostly in numbers.
2019 by the numbers
Hey, there, numerology. Let’s put you to work for us. When we apply numerology to 2019, we add them up:
2 + 0 + 1 + 9 = 12
Then, because the only double digits honored by numerology (as I was taught it) are 11 and 22, we take it one step further:
1 + 2 = 3
From a numerological perspective, 2019 is a 3 year. Here’s the thing, though: I’ve been seeing both 3s and 12s a lot in recent weeks.
For example: My parents have a digital clock with large numbers beside their cable box with its tiny numbers. The digital clock will read 11:11, and yet the cable box clock will read 11:12. 11:12, for real. And I’m noticing that when I glance at my phone or my computer clocks and see 11:11 or another 11-centric time, it will be only a heartbeat or so before the time switches to 11:12, etc. It’s laughable because it’s so obvious.
Another example: I’m seeing 3:33 way more than I’m used to, including in the middle of the night. I mean, what are the chances I’ll wake up needing to use the bathroom at 3:33 according to my bedside clock, repeatedly?
At any rate, I’m fairly certain that the reason for both numbers presenting themselves is because of their energy as it relates to the Major Arcana.
2019 by the Major Arcana
The Major Arcana has 22 cards – or keys – to it. It begins with The Fool (0) and ends with The World (21). Given that we have those numbers at our disposal, it seems wise to allow for both the energy of the 3 (the official energy, in my interpretation) and the 12 for 2019.
The official energy of 2019, based on the Major Arcana, is The Empress, key 3. Her partner energy for 2019 is The Hanged Man, key 12.
These two present very different energies for us than 2018 (The High Priestess, key two, and Justice, key eleven) did. The Empress vibes with our embodiment of nurturance and abundance, fertility and receiving, while The Hanged Man vibes with our perspective (and perhaps the need to change it) and surrendering to all that is.
So, having laid that area of groundwork for us around 2019, let’s find out what we’ll want to know about the energy framework for the new year. I’m guided to draw a card each from the Manifest Being Seen deck, the Work Your Light deck, the Smith-Waite Centennial Tarot deck and the Spirit Animal deck.
Our cards for our 2019 energyscope are…
Left to right from top left we have:
- That One Thing That Changed Everything from the Manifest Being Seen deck
- The Age of Light: You’ve been training for this for lifetimes. from the Work Your Light Oracle
- Dragonfly Spirit: Truth transcends illusion. from the Spirit Animal Oracle
- The Fool from the Smith-Waite Centennial Tarot
What an array this is. The first phrase I hear is “tipping point.”
“The tipping point is, of course, the turn of the wheel from the 2018 to the 2019. It is also the tipping point of humanity in relationship to its divinity. The 2019 brings forth a year of divine presence within governments and schools, warehouses and police stations, for the betterment of all. This one change – this necessary shift – reframes myriad problems and promotes resolutions.”
That would seem to summarize the first three cards, leaving only The Fool “unattended,” I hear.
“The Fool then represents the newborn humanity, for we notice that this is the result. It is as though there is a widespread rebirth which brings a freshness and newness and hope to light that has been missing for some long time. The Fool is the renewed human; the offspring of the new year and its energy of transition.”
It’s 4:44, my computer clock tells me as I consider these messages. Feeling into the second message, there’s heightened emotion around promise of a “widespread rebirth,” because that rebirth feels like the remedy we need.
Of course, we’re each responsible for opening ourselves to that rebirth. We’re each of us responsible for making room for that level of change in our lives. There needs to be a deep surrender (The Hanged Man) and also a deep nurturance (The Empress) to make this possible.
And it is possible.
About that divine presence within governments, etc.
That part of the message isn’t about bringing religion to those and other spaces. It’s about bringing our divine natures – our spiritual natures – to those places.
For me, that means making space for intuitive knowing, divine guidance, etc. in spaces and places from which they’re sorely lacking. Moreover, that means understanding the deep need for that form of divinity in those spaces and places.
We need to put soul into everything we do and are. Back in the long-ago day, it was that way by default, I’m understanding. I hope that makes sense.
Our cards for 2019 as a journey…
The way the cards are laid out isn’t by accident. It isn’t by coincidence, or solely for visual impact. It’s by divine design. Tracing them in the order listed above, we’re offered up the journey of 2019.
That one thing that changed everything was a return of divinity to places and spaces within people who recognize the need for our divine presence in every facet of life. It birthed the age of light, which buoyed lightworkers and Earth angels and Earthkeepers and volunteers to the surface, and even into the limelight, showing others what is possible.
Truth transcended illusion through that surfacing, annihilating falsehoods that were treated as truth and reminding all who needed the reminder of their own truth. And from the ashes of crumbled “regimes” rose the rebirthed human; the idyllic “fool” with their wide-eyed hopes and dreams, open to all that’s possible.
It’s a beautiful journey; one that we must participate in to the fullest extent we can. Because it won’t happen to us or for us, it will happen with us and through us. We are the vessels and the action-takers; the place holders and the powerful motivators.
What are your impressions? I’d love to know.
Blessings be, dear one. May the new year encourage us to have faith and take divine action.
