One interesting aspect of psychic work – related to mediumship, in particular – I’ve learned to stop any attempt to wrap my head around is being able to feel, hear, and see what isn’t there.
I referenced this to a degree in an October post, and it’s come up again.
A couple of days ago, a woman called me for a mediumship session that involved two souls.
The first communicated with words that I “heard” – although I couldn’t tell you what her voice sounded like.
The second communicated both with words and images. I heard the phrases he uttered and knew they were from a male, and yet, again, I would be unable to identify a voice.
The images were a combination of what appeared as PowerPoint slides, in addition to video- and gif-like imagery.
Following the session, after I’d thanked the two souls, and thanked Spirit, I was shown a seat belt, and I heard the phrase, “Buckle up.”
At that same moment, I felt as though I was buckled into my desk chair. The sensation was so real, I was compelled to look down and make sure there wasn’t a seat belt crossing my torso.
There wasn’t, of course.
Another way I’m led to feel things psychically is by my tongue.
Wall and counter surfaces… I feel the sensation on my tongue. Floor surfaces show up that way, too, even though I can also sense them through the bottom of my feet, as though I’m walking on them.
As I said, I’ve learned to stop trying to wrap my head around it, and have faith in the process – something that isn’t easy for me to do, although I’m getting better about it.
What I glean from these experiences is a broadened scope of this world we live in.
What I learn, over and over again, is how limitless we can be.
What I’m reminded is, there is something far greater than this physical plane.
And it feels like the tip of the iceberg.
