While this energy reading for the week of 22 October – 28 October 2018 includes a typical Tarot card draw for guidance, I’m going to deepen the reading to provide some additional information for us. That additional information is found after the card reading.
Our card for this week:
Our card for this week is the 10 of Pentacles from The Housewives Tarot deck. When I flipped this card over, and was guided to associate it with the goddess medallion, I felt a ton of energy activate in my solar plexus chakra. In addition, I heard the word “glory.” (Very different feeling from when this card last showed up, the week of 3 September.) Let’s find out more about this.
Our channeled message for this week:
The energy of the goddess engages with the energy of the home. Understand, it is the goddess energy that rules the home, and yet she has been missing to a degree in the making of the home.
When the goddess energy that is of the heart and the womb is showcased within the home, the home becomes more than a place to eat meals and sleep. It becomes as though a sanctuary, providing comfort and respite to you and to all who enter.
This is the meaning of glory in this instance. The glory is in the actualization of the goddess energy within the home.
Wow. Okay. Leaning further into that message, I’m understanding this call to action and appreciating its timeliness.
For those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, we’re proceeding into the darkest and coldest days of the year. We’re a scant two months away from the Winter solstice; the day with the least amount of daylight hours of the year.
Honoring the nature of this time as we close in on the solstice honors our inner goddess and allows her to brighten the “hearth and home,” as I keep hearing. There’s great empowerment in that honoring, which is why my solar plexus chakra lit up the way it did.
- How can we “make the most” of these darkening days through permitting our homes to be more than their practical intent?
- How might honoring our inner goddess empower (and “embolden”) us as we create sanctuary with our homes?

More about the energy for this week:
Since the above was a very internal sort of message, I’m looking at the external; the out-in-the-world energy.
I hear the word “grasping,” and it leads to the phrase “grasping at straws” and also the word “grappling.”
This makes a lot of sense to me, given the current energy ramping up toward midterm elections here in the U.S. There are a lot of politicians “grasping” for voters, “grasping at straws” with their marketing efforts, and “grappling” with themselves and others to gain traction.
Is it more than that rather singular focus, though? Yes.
The grasping energy is that of humans grasping for a foothold to slow the course of environmental disaster. They are, in some cases, grasping at straws because there is no foothold to be found where they are looking. They must look elsewhere.
The grappling energy is that of nature and human. Nature knows the way. Humans believe they know the way. The humans need but look to nature to understand the way to redemption for planet Earth.
Good heavens. Well, environmental concerns are certainly another hot topic, that’s for sure. Lots to pay attention to, and to ponder for ourselves how we can be of help rather than hindrance.
- How can we use heart-led discernment to help us determine who will best serve our country (and us!) in the political forum?
- What one thing can we do within our personal sphere that supports Earth’s healing?

And for those keeping track…
The intuitive senses used in this reading include clairaudience and clairsentience (and clairvoyance, too, although I didn’t detail the visions I was given).
In addition, I allowed our collective spirit teams to write through me for the channeled messages. (They’ve become very proficient with the keyboard. 😊)
Have a beautiful, heart-led week, dear one. Blessings be.
